The role involves supervising staff, coordinating community and residential services, and maintaining a calm, professional work environment. You will provide direct instruction to consumers, model teaching techniques, and arrange trainings on Human Rights, behavior management, First Aid, medication

Qualifications

• Some college coursework in Human Services.
• One year direct experience with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance, registrations & inspection.
• Criminal background check required with no disqualifying offenses.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create, adapt, and maintain staff and consumer activity schedules.
• Provide direct instruction to consumers and model teaching methods.
• Train residential staff in Human Rights, Behavior Management, First Aid, Admin of Medication, Detecting Illness and Dysfunction, Communicable Diseases, Sexuality, Normalization, Data Taking, and Household Systems.
