Job summary

MERS Missouri Goodwill is seeking a Recycling & Warehouse Assistant Manager in Bridgeton, MO. This hourly full-time role pays $22.50 per hour with up to $500 monthly bonus potential, and supports ongoing operations and team leadership to achieve goals and drive mission-driven results.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or GED, at least one year of management experience, and strong interpersonal skills. Valid MO/IL driver’s license required.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of management experience.
• Valid MO or IL driver's license and insurance.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Warehouse Manager in overseeing operations and budgets.
• Model values and ensure safety, ethics, and quality.
• Supervise and train staff; manage daily tasks.
• Provide strong internal and external customer service.
• Coach employees on performance and discipline when needed.
• Assign daily duties and improve workflow.
• Suggest staff for advancement based on performance.
• Protect company property and data; report issues.
• Read and enforce agency policies and values.
• Support payroll processes and staffing optimization.
• Identify waste and drive process improvements.
