Job summary

A premier Boston boutique law firm is seeking a mid-level Real Estate Transaction Associate to join its sophisticated transactional practice handling complex real estate and financing matters for a diverse client base.

The attorney will work on borrower-side and lender-side matters, including nonprofit and community-focused organizations, with exposure to multifaceted real estate, financing, and corporate transactions from inception through closing.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in real estate and transactional law.
• Experience with nonprofit community development is strongly preferred.
• Massachusetts Bar admission or ability to waive into the Massachusetts Bar.
• Strong academic credentials and excellent drafting skills.

Responsibilities

• Represent borrowers and lenders in construction and permanent financing transactions.
• Advise landlords and tenants on commercial real estate matters.
• Handle asset and equity acquisitions and dispositions.
• Assist with joint ventures and organizational restructurings.
• Advise clients on real estate and transactional matters from inception through closing.
• Support nonprofit, public, and community-focused organizations in complex transactions.
