Job summary

Intellistars ABA in McDonough, GA, seeks a compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to work under BCBA supervision to implement individualized behavior plans for children with developmental disabilities. You will collect data, contribute to care plans, and support families with behavioral strategies in a collaborative team setting.

Qualifications

• Valid RBT certification is required.
• Knowledge of behavioral health principles and practices.
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations regarding confidentiality and documentation.
• Experience working with individuals, especially children, with developmental disabilities.
• Strong data collection to monitor client progress.
• Ability to educate clients and families on behavior management techniques.
• Proficiency in creating and maintaining detailed medical records and care plans.
• Excellent verbal and written communication to collaborate with team and families.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior intervention plans as designed by the supervising BCBA.
• Collect and record data on client behaviors and progress towards goals.
• Assist in developing care plans tailored to individual needs.
• Educate clients and families about behavioral strategies and interventions.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA.
• Collaborate with other professionals involved in the client's care for cohesive care.
• Provide support during therapy sessions in a safe and encouraging environment.
