Job summary

HOME LINK INTERNATIONAL INC is seeking a dedicated in-person Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide high-quality care to individuals with developmental disabilities. The role involves implementing behavior plans, collecting data, and maintaining confidential medical records in line with HIPAA.

The RBT will work under a BCBA supervision, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support clients in daily activities and promote independence.

Qualifications

• RBT certification preferred or willingness to obtain certification.
• Experience with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of behavior management principles and behavioral health practices.
• Proficiency in data collection methods and medical documentation processes.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with clients, families and team.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under supervision of a BCBA.
• Collect and record data on client progress, behaviors, and responses to interventions.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and manage medical records in HIPAA-compliant manner.
• Provide direct patient care, supporting clients in daily activities and promoting independence.
• Assist in development of care plans tailored to each client's needs and goals.
• Engage with children and individuals with developmental disabilities to foster a supportive environment.
• Utilize behavior management techniques to address challenging behaviors effectively.
• Collaborate with team members to review client progress and adjust interventions as necessary.
