Job summary

Renaissance Windows & Doors in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Quality / Continuous Improvement Specialist to organize and drive improvement initiatives across operations. You will work with management, production teams, and stakeholders to analyze processes and eliminate waste.

The role requires hands-on experience with Lean tools, strong communication, and the ability to lead cross-functional projects, develop new quality systems, and mentor colleagues to raise overall quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience applying problem-solving tools and techniques.
• Knowledge of Kanban, Direct Observation, Daily and Visual Management, and Lean methods.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
• Ability to define problems, collect and analyze data, and draw conclusions.
• Willingness to work cross-site and cross-functional teams.
• BS/BA degree or Industrial engineering experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide management, production teams, and other stakeholders with information regarding quality issues and concerns.
• Lead significant projects that align with strategic priorities at all levels of the organization.
• Develop and implement methods and policies for quality control to ensure conformity with standards.
• Develop new systems/tools and manage deployment and upskilling.
• Facilitate and support cross-site cross-functional continuous improvement projects and problem-solving activities to eliminate waste and improve quality.
• Develop CI capabilities by delivering training/presentations for employees.
• Mentor and support team members to achieve tasks.
• Carry out inspections and testing on materials, products, and equipment to ensure compliance with requirements.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of inspections and test results.
