Pattern Energy is seeking a Public Engagement Manager to lead engagement for renewable energy projects across development and construction phases. You will translate local insights into strategies, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and guide outreach and education efforts with communities and stakeholders.

The role requires strong communication, relationship-building, and the ability to manage multiple projects and travel up to 50% across North America.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Affairs, Communications, Political Science, or related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in public affairs, stakeholder engagement, community engagement, project development, campaign management, or related field.
• Experience leading stakeholder engagement for energy or infrastructure projects.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, budgets, consultants, and deadlines while collaborating across teams.

Aufgaben

• Lead public engagement for renewable energy projects, from research to outreach and follow-through.
• Assess local conditions, risks, and local government dynamics to guide engagement strategies.
• Develop and execute stakeholder engagement and public education plans.
• Advise project leadership on stakeholder conditions and potential impacts on schedule, budget, and approvals.
• Lead or support outreach, public meetings, hearings, and community events.
• Manage field teams, vendors, and partnerships within scope and budget.
• Document progress, track risks, and report to Public Engagement leadership.
