Job summary

Bristol Health Medical Group in central Connecticut is seeking experienced Advanced Practice Providers to join its network of primary care practices. This is a full-time opportunity within the Bristol Health system, offering collaborative, patient-centered care.

The ideal candidate will be a graduate of an ARC-PA accredited PA program, hold a Connecticut medical license, and possess DEA registration. Prior NP/PA experience is preferred, with a strong commitment to quality care and CARE values.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Physician Assistant training program accredited by the ARC-PA or its predecessors.
• Connecticut medical license and Connecticut CDS registration are required.
• DEA certification is required to prescribe controlled substances.
• 5+ years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs medical examinations, evaluations, diagnoses, and treatments as primary provider or consultant.
• Prescribes pharmaceuticals and coordinates care with other providers.
• Communicates with the collaborating physician and Bristol Hospital Multi-Specialty Group staff.
• Participates in health promotion, education and quality improvement activities.
• Ensures compliance with BHMSG, hospital policies, billing and coding requirements.
