Job summary

Bristol Hospital Multi-Specialty Group is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join its network of primary care practices in central Connecticut. The role emphasizes patient-centered, high-quality care in a comprehensive hospital system.

The ideal candidate will have a graduate degree and CT medical licensure, with strong collaboration skills and commitment to care across multiple specialties. Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of ARC-PA accredited PA program or equivalent.
• Connecticut medical license and CS registration.
• DEA certification and eligibility for vendor/ hospital credentialing.
• 5+ years of experience as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs medical examinations, evaluations, and treatments as primary provider or consultant.
• Communicates effectively with collaborating physician and staff within BHMSG.
• Prescribes medications and treatment plans appropriate to conditions.
• Coordinates care between specialists and other care components.
• Participates in health promotion, education, and quality programs.
• Complies with policies, safety standards, and hospital compliance programs.
