Job summary

Bristol Health Hospitalist position in the Department of In-patient Medicine seeks compassionate, mission-focused providers to deliver exceptional, team-based inpatient care in our community hospital.

An ARC-PA accredited PA program graduate with CT medical licensure, CS registration, DEA and ACLS certification is required to join a 24/7 service that supports medical and surgical floors.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Physician Assistant program accredited by ARC-PA or CAHEA/CAAHEP predecessor.
• Connecticut medical license and Connecticut CS Registration.
• Federal DEA Certification.
• ACLS certification.
• Certification by American Nurses Credentialing Center or American Academy of Nurse Practitioners may be required.

Responsibilities

• Join Bristol Health Hospitalist team in the Department of In-patient Medicine for inpatient coverage 24/7/365.
• Provide compassionate, quality inpatient care as part of a collegial, team-based environment.

Bristol Health Medical Group has a full-time opportunity for an advanced practice practitioner to join the Department of In-patient Medicine at Bristol Hospital.

We are seeking compassionate, mission-focused, providers who want to make a difference and provide quality care to patients in our communities. You will be part of a collegial and collaborative team of providers who focus on providing exceptional, team-based inpatient services.

The Hospitalist service provides 24/7/365 inpatient hospital coverage for all patients admitted to the medical and surgical floors.

• Applicant must be a graduate of a Physician Assistant training program accredited by the ARC-PA, or one of its predecessor agencies (CAHEA or CAAHEP) or Certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center or American Academy of Nurse Practitioners
• Valid Connecticut medical license, Connecticut Controlled Substance Registration and Federal Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) Certification.
• ACLS certification.
