Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in public health, Health Education and Promotion, Social Work, or a closely related field.
• Two years of professional prevention services experience.
• Experience facilitating/assisting coalition work in alignment with state and local prevention strategies and community support initiatives.
• Experience with community programs, teaching, presenting or public speaking.
• Spanish language proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate promoting healthy, substance-free lifestyles in partnership with the Wendover Prevention Group.
• Develop and implement Strategic Action Plans.
• Grant development, submission, and management.
• Collect and disseminate data regarding the strategies implemented.
• Facilitate grant and stakeholder reporting.
• Provide technical assistance to coalitions and partnerships focusing on current risk factors in the community.
• Facilitate evidence-based prevention courses for the community.
• Oversee high-fidelity implementation of prevention interventions in the assigned community.
• Engage with diverse social, ethnic, economic, educational, and professional backgrounds.
• Attend trainings in and out of state as needed.
