Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to join the Physical Therapy Unit at St. Charles Hospital. In this role, you will assess patients, design and implement treatment plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care.

Responsibilities include direct therapy, documentation in the EMR, and supervising PT assistants, while maintaining productivity and adherence to care standards.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist (Ohio) or eligible for licensure in current practice state.
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent.
• BLS certification required/within 30 days for some locations.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide direct therapy and patient/family instruction daily.
• Document care and progress in the EMR; co-sign for PT assistants as applicable.
• Maintain productivity while ensuring quality of care.
• Follow safety, infection control, and compliance policies.
• Supervise PT assistant interventions and professional development.
