Job summary

Community Care Cooperative is seeking a Pharmacy Technician in Massachusetts to support pharmacists in daily tasks, including filling and labeling prescriptions, and assisting customers with questions. The role involves stocking, inventory management, and helping maintain a safe, compliant pharmacy environment at our on-site health centers.

The candidate should have prior pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service experience, plus state licensure/registration.

Qualifications

Prior experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting.
State licensure/registration required for pharmacy technicians.
Knowledge of inventory management and medication labeling processes.
Familiarity with 340B programs is a plus.

Responsibilities

Stock, prepare, and distribute medications to support pharmacy services.
Greet customers professionally, answer questions, and refer inquiries to the pharmacist.
Maintain pharmacy inventory, place and expedite orders, verify receipt, and remove outdated drugs.
Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Protect patients and staff by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
Prepare medications for pharmacist to dispense by interpreting orders, preparing labels, and calculating quantities.
