Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing in Port Charlotte, FL is seeking an onsite Speech Language Pathologist to support pre-K through 5th grade with a diverse caseload of 60+ students in a school setting near Port Charlotte.

The role requires a Florida SLP license (CFY acceptable) and a passion for pediatric services. You will collaborate with teachers and families, deliver therapy, participate in IEPs, and document progress weekly while enjoying competitive weekly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid SLP license to practice in Florida.
• SLP-CCC or CFY eligibility accepted for candidacy.
• Experience with pediatric populations and school-based settings preferred.
• Strong collaboration with teachers, families, and specialists.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students individually and in groups.
• Conduct assessments to identify speech and language needs.
• Develop IEP goals and implement related services.
• Collaborate with teachers, specialists, families for student success.
• Document services and progress accurately.
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary discussions.
• Provide consultation to staff as needed.
