Job summary

Vitruvian Health in Tennessee is seeking a pediatric outpatient speech-language pathologist to join our team. The role involves planning, administering, and coordinating speech therapy for patients across ages, with collaboration with Radiology for Modified Barium Swallow evaluations.

Licensed in Tennessee with ASHA CCC or eligibility is preferred; a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required. Prior PPS system experience and strong communication are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Speech Therapy Program with a Master’s degree.
• May be a new graduate, but prefer 1 to 2 years of staff ST experience.
• Experience with PPS system and ability to articulate skilled criteria a plus.
• Desirable: strong written and verbal communication, proficiency with computerized documentation, and ability to work well with the public.

Responsibilities

• Plans, administers, and coordinates speech therapy treatments to patients of all ages to maximize functional potential.
• Performs Modified Barium Swallow evaluations with Radiology.
• Contributes to policies, standards, and procedures for speech therapy.
• Works closely with families to ensure goals and continuity of care.
• Provides documentation of patient progress, reassesses and adjusts goals and treatments.
• Assists department Director/Manager in administrative duties across Outpatient, Acute, and Skilled Nursing/ECF areas.
