Job summary

Intermountain Health Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City offers a 10-12-week, full-time paid summer internship commencing late May to early June 2027. Interns will support executives and contribute to sponsored projects across hospital operations.

Interns will engage with senior leaders, participate in key meetings, and develop professional skills through hands-on assignments within a modern health system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from accredited institution. Degree verified.
• Completion of one year of a post-graduate degree program in Business, Public Health, or Health Services Administration.
• Demonstrated leadership, strategic thinking, and analytical abilities.
• Proficiency with business software (spreadsheets, word processing, presentations, databases).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Spends time with senior leaders to understand business environment and issues.
• Attends Executive Council, Governing Board, Medical Executive, and Physician Committee meetings as appropriate.
• Selects and implements a project approved by the Executive Sponsor.
• Performs general administrative duties as needed.
