Rite of Passage Brand in Escondido, CA is seeking a Part Time Residential Youth Care Professional at San Pasqual Academy. You will provide safety and around-the-clock in-person supervision of youth and support their physical, personal and health needs while mentoring students.

You will work Saturday, Sunday and Monday shifts (7am-3pm or 2pm-10pm) and collaborate with staff to meet each student’s treatment plan, documenting behaviors and supporting educational and recreational activities.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with residential care for youth (ages 12-17).
• Pass background checks, TB test and drug screen.

Responsabilités

• provide safety and around-the-clock in person supervision of youth
• provide for the physical, personal and health needs of each student through individual counseling and behavioral/social/physical and educational skill development
• provide an atmosphere that is supportive of the needs of the students
• monitor and document student behaviors and activities
• participate and assist with educational, social, athletic and recreational activities
• work in collaboration with other professional staff to establish and/or meet the goals of each student’s treatment plan
