Job summary

Aspire Public Schools in California seeks an interim, part-time Parent Outreach Coordinator for AGA Only to assist the Principal in fostering a healthy school community and strong parent engagement. The role emphasizes bilingual communication, event coordination, and collaboration with families to support student success.

The position involves coordinating events, managing parent-related activities, and working with community partners to promote school programs while upholding Aspire’s mission

Qualifications

• Strong event management from concept through execution and evaluation.
• Excellent relationship-building and management skills.
• Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills; ability to write clearly for diverse audiences.
• Strong organization, time management and follow-up skills; ability to manage multiple projects.
• Bilingual – Spanish speaking and writing
• Leadership experience with culture-building and peer leadership

Responsibilities

• Support development of parent culture and school events (Town Halls, shows, celebrations).
• Coordinate activities related to parents including extracurriculars and fundraisers.
• Coordinate financial operations related to parent culture with Office Manager supervision.
• Serve as liaison between school and family for recruitment and enrollment activities.
• Support parents with needs to help their children succeed as scholars; trainings, resources, and advocacy.
• Represent the school site in building an effective school community; manage parent communications.
• Work with Principal and Home Office to achieve site and organizational goals.
