Job summary

Aspire Public Schools is seeking candidates to join a pool for SY26/27 to support classroom teachers with high-quality, personalized instruction in California. Recent graduates are encouraged as a pathway to educator roles.

Responsibilities include maintaining classroom routines, delivering differentiated instruction, assessing students, and collaborating with families and the instructional team to support student progress.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of child cognitive development and different learning styles.
• Ability and willingness to implement Aspire Instructional Guidelines and Best Practices.
• Ability and willingness to reflect and improve.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to collaborate with colleagues, parents and community.

Responsibilities

• Support classroom systems and help manage student behavior.
• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with California standards.
• Assess students and analyze assessment data.
• Collaborate with Aspire team to share best practices.
• Provide families with regular information on progress.
• Track attendance and maintain student records per procedures.
• Identify student needs and coordinate with team and providers.
• Assist with differentiated instruction across groups.
• Support after-school intervention and acceleration for below-grade students.
• Support college preparation and counselor collaboration.
• Co-teach Advisory to develop student character and habits.
• Participate in professional development and mentor under lead teacher.
