Qualifications

• Pass ParaPro Assessment or 2 years of college or an Associate's degree.
• Complete a RIDE approved TA training program or proof of registration.
• Completion of a RI-Department of Education TA training program with exceptions for TA certs from other states.
• Minimum requirement: High School Diploma or GED; maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one instructional reinforcement and tutoring as scheduled.
• Assist with classroom management and organizing instructional materials.
• Offer instructional support in computer lab, library, or media center; act as translator when needed.
