Job summary

The Northshore School District is seeking a Title I Paraeducator to assist students needing literacy and mathematics interventions under the supervision of LAP/Title I staff. This role supports in-class or pull-out settings within a classroom, office, or learning space.

Position requires associate degree or higher (or 72 quarter/48 semester credits) or a high school diploma with ETS ParaPro 455+; CPI training is required and provided on hire.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher or 72 quarter/48 semester credits, or high school diploma with ETS ParaPro (455+).
• CPI training or equivalent required. Training provided upon hire.
• Ability to work cooperatively with teachers and interact with children.
• Willingness to adapt to new technology.

Responsibilities

• Provide literacy and/or math interventions to reach and maintain grade-level performance.
• Lead small-group activities and adapt lessons to student needs under LAP/Title I supervision.
• Maintain accurate student records and document progress; communicate with teachers and families.
