Job summary

Chippenham Hospital in Richmond, VA, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a PACU Registered Nurse to deliver post-operative care and support a dynamic surgical team. You will monitor patients, manage airway and cardiovascular status, and provide wound care while coordinating with anesthesia and surgical staff.

This role includes on-call availability for select hours and opportunities to contribute to patient safety and care quality in a leading regional hospital.

Qualifications

• ACLS certification required within 30 days of start date.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of start date.
• RN with Diploma or Bachelor's degree; critical care experience required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in the PACU setting.
• Monitor airway, neurological and cardiac status, and respond to changes.
• Provide initial wound care and ensure patient stability during recovery.
• Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure safe care.
• Participate in on-call availability during select non-business hours.
