Job summary

Chippenham Hospital in Richmond, VA is seeking a PACU Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality post-operative care. You will manage airway support, monitor neurological and cardiac status, and collaborate with the surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure patient stability and safety during recovery.

The role requires on-call availability during select non-business hours and a RN license with a related degree.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certification required within 30 days of start date.
• RN license or eligible to practice as a Registered Nurse.
• Degree: RN Diploma or Bachelor's.
• Critical care experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality post-operative care in the PACU setting.
• Monitor airway, neuro and cardiac status; respond to complications promptly.
• Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure patient safety.
• Provide wound care and document patient condition and care provided.
• Participation in on-call coverage during select non-business hours.
