Job summary

Appalachian Agency for Senior Citizens in Bristol, TN, seeks an Operations Manager to oversee all PACE center services and support operations, including recreation, transportation, facilities, dietary, and personal care. Qualifications

• Requires at least a baccalaureate degree in health/human services or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Professional license/certification preferred (NHA, RN, LSW/MSW, PT, OT, RT, RD).
• Minimum 2 years of managerial/administrator experience in health care/human services.
• Experience with elderly population preferred.
• Experience in startup programs or ACO/health plan preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee PACE Center operations as Center Manager.
• Ensure participant rights are understood and respected by staff and contractors.
• Maintain understanding of participant needs and communicate with families.
• Provide diverse, engaging therapeutic activities for participants.
• Ensure safe, reliable transportation services for all participants.
• Oversee dietary services and balanced meals for participants.
• Maintain a clean, safe center environment and proper facilities.
• Manage human resources and foster staff engagement and retention.
• Ensure staff education and competency monitoring.
• Direct, supervise and evaluate all center staff.
• Maintain compliance with state and federal program requirements.
• Implement policies for direct participant care and services.
• Participate in quality improvement and data-driven decision making.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and a safe workplace.
• Protect privacy and confidentiality of participants and staff.
• Participate in continuing education and required trainings.
• Maintain professional affiliations and necessary certifications.
• Assign duties based on education and competencies; provide on-call coverage as needed.
• Perform related duties as required.
