Job summary

The role requires a High School Diploma or Medical Assisting certificate, BLS, and CMA/RMA/CCMA/NCMA/NRCMA certifications with at least 1 year outpatient experience. A GA driver's license may be needed for mobile care.

Qualifications

• Minimum education as stated: High School Diploma or GED or Medical Assisting certificate.
• BLS certification required at hire.
• Certifications CMA/RMA/CCMA/NCMA/NRCMA required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs and collect patient history.
• Assist physicians with exams and procedures.
• Obtain lab specimens and prepare rooms.
• Administer limited injections per policy and document in EMR.
• Provide patient education and discharge information.
