Job summary

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant certification or associate degree preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs and interview patients for visit information.
• Assist physicians with exams and procedures.
• Prepare exam rooms with supplies and instruments.
• Provide education and emotional support to patients during procedures.
• Administer limited injections per policy and collect specimens as needed.
• Document procedures in the EMR and manage orders/charges.
• Perform front office tasks such as scheduling, registration, and insurance verification.
• Wipe down equipment and maintain exam rooms; restock supplies.
• Respond to triage lines and relay information to physicians as needed.
