Wellstar Health System in Georgia is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support ambulatory care teams in outpatient settings. You will perform CMA duties, take vital signs, collect specimens, assist with exams, and support nurses and physicians throughout visits.

The role requires strong patient communication, basic lab skills, and adherence to clinical policies; current BLS certification and CMA credential are expected at hire. Training is provided to ensure quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year outpatient setting experience.
• Current BLS certification required at hire.
• GA driver's license preferred for certain locations.

Responsabilités

• Interview patients for visit information and collect vital signs.
• Assist physicians with exams and procedures; prepare rooms and supplies.
• Obtain labs (blood, urine, nasal swabs) and document properly in EMR.
• Provide patient education and emotional support throughout procedures.
