Wellstar Health System is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for outpatient care. You will perform CMA duties including obtaining vital signs, drawing blood, and administering limited injections under supervision of a licensed provider.

You will also assist with exams, manage room setup, and support EMR documentation in a fast-paced clinic. You should have CMA certification and 1 year of outpatient experience preferred, with proficiency in phlebotomy, EKGs, and basic patient education.

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant or equivalent certification required.
• Minimum 1 year outpatient setting experience preferred.
• Proficient in phlebotomy, EKG, and vital signs documentation.

Responsabilités

• Assist physicians with exams and procedures.
• Take patient history and vital signs.
• Prepare exam rooms and supplies, restock as needed.
• Administer injections and vaccines per policy.
• Maintain EMR documentation and charge capture.
• Front desk duties including scheduling and insurance verification.
