Good Shepherd in Blair, NE is seeking compassionate Occupational Therapists to join our in-house subacute rehabilitation team. We offer both Full-Time and Per Diem opportunities to support patient independence and functional recovery.

As part of an interdisciplinary team, you will evaluate, plan, and implement therapy focused on activities of daily living, mobility, and safety, with emphasis on patient dignity and quality of life. Nebraska license and CPR/BLS are required or obtainable.

Formación

• Nebraska OT license or eligibility.
• Graduate of an accredited OT program.
• Current CPR/BLS certification, or ability to obtain as required.
• Strong clinical, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team.
• Experience in subacute rehabilitation, skilled nursing, long-term care, or post-acute care is preferred but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate patients' functional abilities and OT needs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on goals and needs.
• Provide skilled OT interventions to improve strength, coordination, mobility, balance, cognition, and independence.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living.
• Provide patient and caregiver education regarding safety and home programs.
• Recommend and train use of adaptive equipment and devices.
• Monitor progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation per requirements.
• Communicate with the interdisciplinary team.
• Participate in care and discharge planning.
• Promote safety, dignity, independence, and quality of life.
• Follow applicable professional, facility, state, and federal requirements.
