Job summary

Enhance Rehabilitation in Rolling Meadows, IL, is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our dynamic team under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.

You will assist in implementing individualized treatment plans, document patient progress, communicate with the care team, and help patients achieve functional outcomes.

This position emphasizes hands-on therapy, collaboration with therapists and facility staff, and adherence to clinical protocols.

Responsibilities

• Ensure every patient receives quality treatment resulting in excellent functional outcomes.
• With assistance of Occupational Therapist, develop and implement occupational therapy treatment programs based on each patient's particular needs.
• Assist patients with all phases of Occupational Therapy treatment and techniques.
• Discuss treatment with patients and record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit.
• Provide continuous communication with Occupational Therapist, Director or Rehab, and facility staff.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard occupational therapy equipment.
