Job summary

Adventist Rehabilitation - Silver Spring seeks a Physical Therapist for our Outpatient Rehabilitation department who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor, Master, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited physical therapy program.
• Active Maryland License is required.
• 1 year of Rehab experience preferred; BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial examination and evaluation to establish impairment, prognosis, and plan of care for all rehab needs.
• Provide, or direct and supervise, therapy interventions per plan of care and reexamine as necessary.
• Plan for discharge considering goals and outcomes, with follow-up/referral as needed.
• Communicate, coordinate, and document patient management with care team; supervise rehab aides and office staff.
• Manage schedule to accommodate census and inform management of issues with caseload.
• Attend team meetings and communicate patient status using medical records or other therapists.

BLS Certification

Rehab experience (1 year preferred)
