Job summary

Adventist Health, a faith-based nonprofit health system on the West Coast and Hawaii, seeks a Physical Therapist for outpatient rehab. You will administer PT treatments, monitor patient progress, and coordinate with nurses, physicians, and home health staff to plan and deliver care.

The role requires a California PT license (or eligibility), BLS, and strong communication. Travel and supervisory responsibilities may apply; the team emphasizes patient-centered care and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in physical therapy or related field.
• 1–2 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent.
• CA driver’s license when travel is required.
• Current BLS certification.
• California Physical Therapy license or eligible for registration.
• APTA membership preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer physical therapy treatments per standard practice.
• Observe schedules, ensure compliance with policies including confidentiality.
• Attend case conferences and staff meetings.
• Complete patient evaluations within 24 hours of physician orders; discharge forms within 24 hours of discharge.
• Plan care based on physician orders and patient needs; coordinate referrals.
• Supervise PT assistants and aides; ensure competency and compliance.
