Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field required.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience required.
• Lean Six Sigma and/or training or experience in Lean Process Improvement strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently conducts operational assessments to identify root causes, operational challenges, and improvement opportunities.
• Leads current-state and future-state workflow assessments using process mapping, stakeholder interviews, direct observation, and data analysis.
• Develops comprehensive improvement plans, implementation roadmaps, and measurable success metrics.
• Facilitates cross-functional working sessions to evaluate findings, build consensus, and advance operational initiatives.
• Analyzes operational, financial, quality, service, and productivity data to support improvement recommendations.
• Develops process redesign recommendations addressing people, process, technology, and organizational factors.
• Leads implementation activities and monitors progress toward targeted outcomes.
• Establishes performance baselines, develops KPIs, and evaluates operational results.
• Identifies operational risks, barriers, dependencies, and mitigation strategies.
• Leads stakeholder engagement, communication, training, and change management efforts.
• Develops executive summaries, recommendations, business cases, and presentations.
• Conducts benchmarking and best-practice research to support future-state design.
• Monitors post-implementation performance and recommends corrective actions when needed.
• Influences cross-functional stakeholders to establish accountability and achieve project objectives.
• Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.
