Maxim Healthcare is hiring a Behavioral Technician to work one-on-one with children and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder and similar developmental challenges. The role focuses on social and communication skills, documenting progress, and following behavior plans created by BCBA professionals.

Qualifications

• Passion for working with children with special needs.
• Strong communication skills.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• College coursework in psychology/education/social work/behavioral sciences or 1 year of related child experience.

Responsibilities

• Help children work on social and communication skills and reduce repetitive or restricted behaviors.
• Document child progress and milestones.
• Follow and implement behavior change plans created by our Board Certified Behavior Analysts.
