Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current Connecticut license to practice as Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Three years' experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages a patient caseload on a daily basis.
• Under supervision of an Occupational Therapist, performs treatment modalities as indicated.
• Implements plan of care to provide safe, efficient quality care.
• Coordinates patient care with Agency personnel and community resources.
• Consults with the Occupational Therapist regarding outcomes and documents findings.
• Organizes and prioritizes caseload to meet patient needs and productivity standards.
• Keeps OT informed of caseload status and issues.
• Demonstrates understanding of after-hours procedures and educates patients on-call coverage.
• Prepares and maintains legible records and communicates with services on timeframes.
• Collects and documents financial and reimbursement information for each patient.
