Job summary

Hartford HealthCare at Home is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support patients across inpatient, outpatient, home care, skilled nursing, or assisted living settings under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.

You will administer OT treatments, assist in evaluating function, document patient progress, educate patients and families, and help plan goals and care transitions for improved daily living and independence.

Qualifications

• Associates degree required.
• Current CT OT Assistant license required.
• NBCOT COTA certification required.
• BLS certification required or obtained within specified timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Administer Occupational Therapy treatments under supervision of an OT.
• Assist OT with evaluation by providing objective measures.
• Deliver therapy to improve daily living, leisure, and productivity.
• Complete documentation: care plan, progress notes, discharge summaries.

Education

Associates Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant
