Qualifications

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university.

• Understanding of growth and development from infant to geriatric patients.
• Ability to interpret growth-related information to meet patient needs.
• Analytical skills to interpret data from patient charts.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, and plan OT treatment.
• Evaluate patient impairments and functional status.
• Facilitate patient participation and collaborate with the care team.
• Set goals with patient and family.
• Implement OT treatment plans and transfer/position patients.
• Participate in patient care conferences and educate patient/family.
• Document care activities using RICIS and forms.
• May supervise OT students and teach departmental courses.
• Perform other duties in the best interest of Shirley Ryan AbilityLab.
