Job summary

Mariner Healthcare is seeking an Occupational Therapist to evaluate and treat residents with varied conditions, developing comprehensive plans to improve daily living activities and safety in the care environment.

You will document patient records, educate residents and families, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams while adhering to state and federal regulations and privacy guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/masters/doctorate in occupational therapy.
• Current license in occupational therapy (as required by state).
• One year of clinical experience preferred.
• State approved certification for advanced treatments where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Screens, evaluates residents/patients and develops a plan of care.
• Instructs residents, families and caregivers in the use of adaptive equipment.
• Maintains patient records accurately and timely.
• Provides adaptive tools and treatments tailored to patient needs.
• Completes forms and documents per policy and regulations.
