Zusammenfassung

Mariner Healthcare is seeking an Occupational Therapist to evaluate and treat residents to improve daily living and work environments in compliance with federal guidelines and state practice acts. The role includes developing care plans and instructing residents and caregivers in adaptive equipment use.

Requires an OT degree and state license, with preference for 1 year of clinical experience and California compliance with COVID mandates.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, or Doctor of Occupational Therapy degree.
• Current license in Occupational Therapy (if required by state law).
• One (1) year of clinical experience preferred.
• State approved certification to provide advanced level treatments where applicable.
• Covid 19 vaccine required.
• Must be in compliance with the state of California covid mandate.

Aufgaben

• Screens, evaluates resident/patient and develops appropriate plan of care.
• Instructs residents, families and caregivers in the use of adaptive equipment such as wheelchairs, splints, and aids for eating and dressing.
• Maintains patient records in an accurate and timely manner.
• Provides adaptive tools and treatments for the specific needs of patients.
• Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.
