Job summary

Mariner Healthcare is seeking an Occupational Therapist in Oakland, CA to evaluate and treat residents with various disabilities, improving daily living skills and work environments in line with federal and state guidelines.

The role involves developing care plans, instructing families and caregivers on adaptive equipment, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with regulations. A CA license and vaccine are required; clinical experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have California OT license eligibility or active license.
• Covid-19 vaccine required.
• State approved certification for advanced level treatments where applicable.
• One year of clinical experience preferred.
• Must comply with the state of California covid mandate.

Responsibilities

• Screens and evaluates residents/patients and develops a plan of care.
• Instructs residents, families and caregivers in use of adaptive equipment and therapies.
• Maintains patient records accurately and timely.
• Provides adaptive tools and treatments for patient needs.
• Completes forms and documents per company policy and state/federal regulations.
