Job summary

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice Careers seeks an Occupational Therapist to help patients in the home improve daily living skills and regain independence. The role focuses on developing basic motor functions and adapting activities to compensate for function loss.

Must be a graduate of an approved school of Occupational Therapy and licensed as an OT in the practicing state. One year of experience is preferred; Medicare home health experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved school of Occupational Therapy and licensed as an Occupational Therapist/OT in the state in which he/she currently practices.
• A minimum of one-year experience is preferred, but can be less with Regional VP/Regional Director approval based on prior experience setting.
• Medicare home health experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help patients in the home improve the functions of performing everyday tasks.
• Use treatments to develop daily living skills and compensate for any loss of function.
