Job summary

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice seeks an Occupational Therapist to assist patients in the home, helping them regain daily living activities and functional skills. The role includes teaching families and delivering skilled care under physician orders and an approved care plan.

Qualified applicants are licensed OTs in the state, with a graduate OT degree. Medicare home health experience is preferred, and one year of experience is desirable or may be waived with leadership approval.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved school of Occupational Therapy and licensed in the state where they practice.
• Minimum of one-year experience preferred; may be waived with VP/Regional Director approval based on prior experience.
• Medicare home health experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help patients in the home improve daily living skills and basic motor functions.
• Use treatments to develop daily living skills and compensate for function loss.
• Administer skilled care under physician orders and established plan of care.
• Teach family and health care team members and work under the Branch Director's supervision.
