Zusammenfassung

Central City Concern seeks an Occupancy Specialist to maximize occupancy and ensure strict regulatory compliance for our Portland affordable housing portfolio. This role blends administrative rigor with compassionate tenant service, coordinating waitlists, income certifications, and rent processing.

The incumbent will work with property managers to maintain precise records, process Home Forward documents, and support move-ins while upholding privacy and compliance standards.

Qualifikationen

• LIHTC Tenant Income Certifications experience and income verification
• Familiarity with Section 8, HUD, and housing waitlists
• Proficient MS Office software usage and reporting
• Knowledge of Fair Housing standards and practices
• Ability to manage multiple data and compliance tasks

Aufgaben

• Maximize portfolio occupancy through approved applicants and units
• Prepare residential leases and addenda
• Coordinate waitlists and Section 8 applications and Home Forward docs
• Process income verification and prepare Tenant Income Certifications
• Post rents, deposits, and other revenue in the Property Management Database
• Maintain tenant files and move-in schedules
• Produce occupancy and certification reports
• Serve as back-up for other Occupancy Specialists and staff
