Job summary

Rose Foundation is seeking a Communications Associate to implement fundraising and communications strategies, primarily in the Development Department and with the Grants Team. You will craft donor messaging, manage campaigns, crowdfund, and share impact stories with stakeholders and the public.

You will collaborate on grant proposals, communications calendars, newsletters, website updates, and event publicity, including the annual Film Fest.

Qualifications

• AA or BA preferred with nonprofit fundraising/marketing coursework.
• Two years in communications/marketing and/or nonprofit fundraising with online channels.
• Experience in grant writing and reporting; ability to tailor writing for audiences.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate donor messaging via website, email and social media.
• Support annual fundraising campaigns and year-end appeals.
• Assist crowdfund efforts; set up accounts and provide resources to fundraisers.
• Maintain Rose Foundation profile on Charity Navigator and GuideStar.
• Draft grant proposals with staff; ensure timely submissions.
• Communicate with funders outside proposals to share activities.
• Oversee annual communications calendar and storytelling archives.
• Produce monthly e-newsletter and biannual print newsletter; coordinate visuals.
• Manage social media channels and content; update the website regularly.
• Collaborate with Grants Team on grant information; produce targeted reports.
• Enhance reach via SEO and Google ads.
• Support Rose Foundation’s Film Fest event communications and logistics.
