Cedarstone is seeking a full-time Nonprofit Accountant to join our Financial Operations team. This hands-on role is designed to serve as a day-to-day trusted accountant to a portfolio of nonprofit clients, ensuring their financial operations run smoothly, accurately, and compliantly.

You will manage general ledger maintenance, perform monthly/quarterly/annual closings, execute AP/AR reconciliations, and produce timely financial packages and board-level reporting.

Qualifications

• Strong GAAP knowledge and ability to apply it in nonprofit settings.
• Advanced spreadsheet skills for complex financial analyses.
• Exceptional attention to detail for accurate reporting and compliance.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with nonprofit leaders.

Responsabilités

• Manage general ledger maintenance and regular closings.
• Perform monthly/quarterly/annual closings and AP/AR reconciliations.
• Produce timely financial packages and board-level reporting.
• Support external audits and Form 990 filings.
• Assist with client onboarding and provide actionable financial guidance.
