Job summary

Roy Jorgensen Associates, Inc. is seeking a full-time Field Supervisor Night shift to oversee highway maintenance operations in the Houston, TX area.

The role involves supervising technicians, coordinating daily tasks, ensuring safety, productivity and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and supporting staff development. Candidates should have bilingual English/Spanish, 5+ years as a supervisor in highway maintenance, and experience with roadway and toll lane maintenance.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English & Spanish is required.
• Minimum 5 years of supervisor/field lead experience in highway maintenance.
• Roadway/toll lane maintenance experience.
• Industry knowledge of highway maintenance and/or construction transportation.
• Wheel Loader, Skid steer, Forklift, Mini excavator operation experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee performance of a variety of highway maintenance tasks and ensure safety, productivity, and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate daily operations and support staff development; monitor progress and adjust schedules as needed.
• Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations and company policies; maintain quality standards.
• Direct technicians from the project yard in Houston, TX and manage emergency callouts.
