Job summary

Qualifications

• Masters degree in a related field with two years clinical or NBS experience.
• RN licensure in California with two years pediatric/maternal-child health, neonatal, or public health experience.
• Licensed Health Professional with two years clinical experience or state newborn screening program experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide follow up and coordinate care for positive and non-positive NBS cases.
• Consult and provide technical assistance to hospital NBS providers and birth attendants to ensure program compliance.
• Deliver NBS educational programs to hospitals, health care professionals, community agencies and parent groups.
• Manage confirmed positive cases to ensure affected babies receive required specialty care and document in SIS.
