Job summary

Mental Health Resources, Inc. is seeking a therapist to implement Multisystemic Therapy (MST) for families of youths at risk or involved with the juvenile justice system, in New Mexico.

The role emphasizes working with youth aged 12-17 and their families to reduce risk and promote lasting change in the home and community. You will receive MST-specific training, engage multidisciplinary partners, and provide intensive, strength-based interventions while ensuring confidentiality and HIPAA

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a human service field.
• Spanish-speaking applicants are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical treatment using the MST model and principles.
• Conduct a thorough assessment of the client and family.
• Engage primary caregiver and family members in change-oriented treatment.
• Weekly case planning and evaluation of case progress with supervision.
• Receive regular training, supervision, and MST-specific professional development.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and client confidentiality.
• Travel to families in Curry, Roosevelt, Quay County and surrounding areas.
• Maintain a caseload of 4-6 families.
• Document treatment efforts clearly for peer and supervisory review.
