Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Active Maryland CPRS certification in good standing.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with diverse populations.
• Ability to stay calm, supportive, and professional in crisis situations.
• Basic computer skills and ability to complete required documentation.
• Successful background check and training clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide peer support and engagement during and after crisis contacts.
• Assist with de-escalation through rapport-building and supportive communication.
• Help individuals navigate coping, wellness strategies, and connect to resources.
• Link participants to services, benefits, and follow-up appointments as appropriate.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support participant needs and planning.
• Complete documentation accurately and on time per standards.
