Job summary

KIPP New Orleans Schools (KNOS) seeks dedicated teachers to join our network of campuses. You will deliver rigorous, standards-aligned instruction, articulate daily objectives, and use data to drive targeted reteach and extension for all learners.

You will differentiate instruction, support multilingual learners, collaborate with ESL/DSS staff, and uphold a safe, culturally sustaining classroom culture that reflects our community.

Qualifications

• Valid state teaching credential required.
• Experience in urban public/charter schools preferred.
• Commitment to equity and student-centered instruction.

Responsibilities

• Deliver rigorous, standards-aligned instruction using HQIM; communicate daily objectives and success criteria.
• Plan/adapt units and lessons that build conceptual understanding and fluency; script questions and models.
• Differentiate and scaffold using diverse strategies for students with varied needs (IEP/504, multilingual learners).
• Use data to drive instruction; analyze assessments and adjust tomorrow's plan.
• Provide timely, actionable feedback and maintain transparent grades and make-up work systems.
• Collaborate with DSS/ESL staff and families to support student progress.
• Uphold a safe, inclusive classroom culture reflecting community.
